Mohamed Salah has been a revelation for Liverpool in the current 2017/18 Premier League season but the Egyptian, somewhat bizarrely, does NOT find a spot in TV pundit Paul Merson’s Team of the Season.

Salah leads the Premier League goal scoring charts with fourteen goals in eighteen fixtures, two ahead of his nearest rival Harry Kane, and has already hit the 20 goal mark this season in all competitions for the Reds, with his strike against Bournemouth last weekend making him the first LFC player since the legendary Ian Rush in 1986/87 to score 20 goals in a season before Christmas.
